Responsibilities
- Development of Python/Matlab models of modern DSP algorithms for object detection, classification and tracking in radar/camera images Implementation of Python/Matlab models on real-time DSP platforms (DSP processors, general purpose processors, dedicated HW accelerators)
- Designing optimal radar waveforms for different sensing applications and close collaboration with RF IC and Antenna teams for selecting the optimal antenna topology
- Be deeply involved in people development by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
- Improve day-to-day operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures on projects.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of algorithm development expertise
- Education level: Dipl. Ing or Master’s degree, or PhD encouraged
- Experience in high-scale projects with reporting, presentations, conferences, subversion systems, bug tracking etc.
- Deep theoretical understanding of basing signal processing concepts and application of advanced signal processing methods proven in practice
- The ability to construct complex decisions on top of advanced DPS algorithms using ML is preferable Advanced knowledge of Matlab/Python programming languages and libraries for DPS/ML in them
- Advanced implementation skills of Matlab/Python algorithms on digital signal processing platforms
- Excellent knowledge of English both written and spoken is required
- Ability to rapidly understand and implement solutions based on technical documentation, minimizing the time from analysis to execution.
